MISSION

Alliance For Consumers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the interests of everyday consumers and ensuring that consumer protection efforts, class action lawsuits, and attorney general enforcement actions benefit consumers, not just the class action lawyers and government bureaucracy that too often get served before clients, citizens, and the rule of law.

Promoting Consumer Protection Measures That Directly Compensate Consumers

Fighting Efforts To Divert Consumers’ Money Toward Class Action Lawyers And Bureaucracy

Protecting The Rule Of Law For Today’s Consumers And Future Generations

Too often, class action lawsuits and public enforcement actions by state Attorneys General and other public officials seem to serve only to funnel money to plaintiffs’ lawyers and government bureaucracy instead of sending compensation to consumers. Even worse, too many of these lawsuits press unprincipled, unsupported legal arguments that undermine the bedrock rule of law on which our prosperity and the rights of our consumers are based.

AFC fights back against this by pushing for pro-consumer reforms. AFC promotes best practices and speaks up for consumers in order to ensure that consumer protection efforts, class action lawsuits, and attorney general enforcement actions are consistent with the rule of law and benefit everyday consumers, not just class action lawyers and career bureaucrats.
